A Lost File: The Hidden Tale of Cameron and Carlos (Spoilers)

There is a lost file that will probably never see the light of day because of how complicated the storyline is. However, I like to note that it is 100% completely canon and not fanfiction. That is Cameron and Carlos almost became step siblings. Yes it is true and I am not lying or making it up. Cameron Minski and Carlos Kim almost became step siblings.

I am going to try to recall this rather fuzzy storyline because it happened a decade ago in my actual real-life memories. I believe it happened in 2014-2015. Mostly 2014. The Around the World Part II tour is coming to a rather end and there was a secret love story brewing in the background. Somehow and I don’t know how, but somehow, Cameron’s mom got in contact with Carlos’ dad? They date for a little bit before randomly calling for a wedding. 

Now for context, Cameron and Carlos' parents are divorce by time the two join BFF, later known as Switch. Not to mention I barely talk about the members parents because Mr. Smith had limited communication with the parties. Also if it not canon (or doesn't progress the story), I don’t include it. 

Anyways, Carlos' dad had gained a lot of fortune after Carlos' solo album ‘Golden Hour’ release in 2013. For context, Golden Hour was an international success. Sold millions of copy worldwide. Well Carlos’ dad gain tons of money from royalty pay outs that Carlos never saw in his lifetime. Meanwhile, Cameron’s mom must have somehow found out through the grapevine and got in contact with Carlos’ dad.

The short lived dating caught headlines and it shocked the Switch household by a storm. Carlos and Cameron could not stand the idea of being step siblings. Not to mention Carlos and Brittany are expecting or already had Kimberly at this point.

The only reason why the Kim-Minski clan did not unite is because Carlos much older brother (who I won’t name because I genuinely forgot his name) came to the rescue and convinced his father to not marry Ms. Minski for Ms. Minski was clearly a gold digger, especially ever since Cameron got emancipated. Ms. Minski bank account had dried up despite getting continually pay outs by Mr. Smith with lots of hush hush money. Volume seven explains what that hush hush money was.

It is a running joke in Switch that the Korean and Japanese members could have been brother and sister. Oh but that would have been a disaster. 

What makes this lost file funny to me is that Carlos' older brother literally looks like Kim Hyun Joong from Boys Before Flowers except it's not him but it looks like him (IYKWIM). Also having all of Switch (OT34) in Seoul as they wait for this ceremony to happen is actually funny because it literally fails minutes before Cameron mom walks down the aisle. It is a pretty weird storyline especially with the 2015 album in progress. Not to mention Brittany and Carlos also have their wedding in Korea. It's a whole thing and I can’t recall the exact dates that occur to where it lines up with the rest of the lore. Now if my 12 year old self wrote it down when it all took place… Then yeah you all would be having the time of your life right now but I didn’t. I highly recommend you check out Volume Seven of The Archive of BFF, read the Lost Files from 2014, AND, read the ERAs pages. That stuff is there for a reason. So you don’t get lost in all the lore. 

Also make sure you read your word because everything you read is also a testimony about how God, Jesus Christ, cures trouble pasts for a bright future.
