Rap Line

The rest of the original JV Line is Rap Line. The sub-unit is similar to popular K-Pop group BTS’s rap line. Rap Line is compose of five members who all are heartthrobs. They are the main songwriters of Switch and often ghostwriters for other artists. Jean and Leo often go back and forth on who’s Rap Lead. All depends on who on good behavior.

Rap Lead

Jean Gonzales

A lover boy who fears rejection.

Many rappers in the industry hate Jean simply because he is dating Cameron. Because of this Jean is very clingy and protective of Cameron when outside the BFF House. Refusing to let her out of his sight, Jean’s tough boy persona is all a front. In all reality is has a very sensitive heart. Jean never talks about his life before Switch. Though he feel that Rebecca (from JV Girls) constantly reminds him of it.

Leo Sanchez-Junit

The one with the controversial past.

Leo was always painted as the bad boy everyone wants. With a once strong drinking, and anger issue problem, Leo was on the verge of being kicked of Switch along side Kylie from JV Girls. Though that did not happen because Leo was the only member who was able to pay the group’s bills with his acting gigs. After three years of a long redemption arc, Leo was able to gain respect in the group. However in exchange, he was title as Secret Keeper. Leo is responsible for holding everyone dirty secrets and he has to. Why? Becuase everyone has enough dirt on Leo to get him cancelled or even jailed. Leo is constantly looking after Sammatha and will to drop a million dollars just to keep Sammatha from harming herself.

Simon Fischer

High and depressed.

High and depressed indeed. Simon has had a weed and pill problem since the group started. He would often pass out before shows as a side effect. Lily got to see addiction problem up close when she dated him in 2016. Though their relationship didn’t last long Lily still decided to keep close to him after she found him overdose in the shower. As JV Girl’s Jordyn’s twin brother, he doesn’t have a great relationship with his sister. In addition, recently he has develop strong feelings with Saige (from JV Girls) after she broke up with Theo. However little did he know this would be a problem for everyone.

Kendrick Faye

Always “not here”.

Kendrick is always out of the country, tending to his grandfather’s needs. He is very kind spirited and often feels like he has to lighten the mood within Rap Line. He is extremely close to LeeSung as they are best friends. Kendrick does hope that JV Guys could one day be an official subunit and the divide between Rap line and Duo could be permanently erase. Rumor also has it that he has a crush on the ex-member Kylie.

Nam LeeSung

The oldest, a widow, has a kid.

LeeSung has experience a series of unfortunate events since he joined Switch. He became Maknae Line’s Kyan father after a ugly custody battle against Kyan money hungry adoptive parents. He was also consider the least popular member in the group so management sent him on to a dating reality show in South Korea to gain some publicity. There he would meet his fiancé Yoona. The two dated for a short period time before he propose to her in 2016. They soon adopted their daughter Haru who was four at the time. Unfornutately, Yoona died shortly after from cancer that she was hiding from him. Left as a guardian to a young child and teen, LeeSung and Haru moved out to Brooklyn while Kyan stayed at the BFF House. David business trips turn into night outs at the Vegas Strip. With a bad gambling problem, David often goes missing does weeks or even months. Xan often has to drag David back to New York. He has a little crush on Jackie (from JV Girls) but never feels qualify to be with her. Doesn’t help that he the only person who know about her secret relationship with Zachary from Varsity Guys.
